Empire of the Sun- Standing on the Shore

I went out to Rockwall today to pay a visit to relatives that I really didn’t know, because my grandparents are in town and wanted to see them. It was incredibly awkward when we first walked in, because everyone was hugging me and they all knew my name, and I had no idea who any of them were. Anyways, I was asked many a time what my plans were for college and what I wanted to study. And they all seemed really taken aback when I told them the truth, that I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, which I think is perfectly reasonable as a teenager. I would rather go into college not knowing exactly what I want, than accidentally going into something that I hate.
